Less than two months are left before the release of the fourth Diablo. However, there is already talk of content that will expand the game in the future. The topic of additional content was raised by game director Joe Piepiora in an interview with Game Informer magazine, who said that Diablo IV will receive new story content every three months. Piepiora doesn’t call this type of regular new content an extension, but instead calls it about the big updatewhich must therefore be free-form.
In addition to story content, big three-month updates will also bring new mechanics and features. This will force regular players to return to the game months after release. Diablo IV coming out June 6th on PC (Battle.net) and PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
