Microsoft will have to do without in the future Joseph Staten. Creative director Halo Infinite and the writer/director of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3 announced his departure from Microsoft.
Staten has already worked at Bungie, where he was responsible for the old parts of Halo. He then worked on Destiny as a writer and head of design. He left Bungie in September 2013 and joined Microsoft as creative director the following January. In this position, he was the chief game writer ReCore And Overclocking 3. It wasn’t until the summer of 2020 that he joined 343 Industries and worked on Halo Infinite as lead campaign writer. His role later changed to creative director.

However, he was due to leave this position at 343 Industries in January of this year and return to his previous position in the publishing division. Xbox Game Studios. There is, as it turned out, but he did not last long.
