Daniel Vavraboss War Horse Studios and author of the series Kingdom Come: Deliveranceonce again causing a stir on social media. This time he took aim at a new product from Obsidian Entertainment – The Outer Worlds 2receiving a highly respectable score of 84/100 from critics on Metacritic. However, Vavra disagrees with the reviewers’ enthusiasm, giving the game a 7/10.
Vavra considers the sequel to the sci-fi RPG a disappointment, not only in terms of the game itself, but also the development of the Obsidian studio, which he once admired. “I love both the original Fallout and New Vegas, I think they are some of the best games of all time. But fifteen years later, with all Microsoft’s money and access to modern technology, I expected something more.” wrote Vavra.
The creator of Kingdom Come complained that The Outer Worlds 2 does not bring any new game mechanics to the genre. “Can anyone find anything we haven’t seen in Deus Ex or the old Fallouts from the 90s? I can’t”. he stated.
