In Everspace 2, you play as Adam, a clone pilot looking for a fortune to buy freedom outside of the conflict in the Cluster 34 DMZ. Violent encounters and brutal trials stand between you and other epic prey along your path. An exciting sci-fi adventure set in war-torn star systems, with vast, hand-crafted kingdoms filled with mystery, mystery and danger. Danger awaits in every corner of space – pilots must level up, create and acquire the best equipment to survive on the edge of space.

In addition to the five expansive star systems featured in Early Access, space lovers will finally be able to explore Khion, the game’s sixth star system, as well as the final chapter of the campaign, featuring massive space battles with epic cinematic moments and a thrilling finale. a boss fight that takes the challenge to a whole new level. Space pilots will face new Tier 4 ships, gameplay mechanics and side content in a new star system, and new legendary loot that will drop from some of the side missions and activities in the latest installment of Ancient Rifts. In addition, version 1.0 adds many quality-of-life improvements, special goods trading features, additional ship customization options, a new set of perks for players, as well as Nightmare difficulty, which is unlocked after beating the campaign on any difficulty.

In total, the game contains over four hours of dialogue and two hours of cutscenes and cutscenes, fully voiced in English and German. In addition, the game is currently localized into thirteen languages, including English, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Spanish.

At launch, Everspace 2 is supported on Windows and Steam Deck. After the release of the game, support for Linux and MacOS is planned, as well as further optimization of Steam Deck. While the team is working to improve Linux performance, Everspace 2 is playable through Proton. The digital soundtrack and artbook will be available for purchase later this year.

In addition to the console launch, a major free update is scheduled for later this year that will add new features, more ship customization options, and more voice language support. The Rockfish Games team has also begun development on the first major paid-for expansion for the game, which will continue the adventure of Everspace 2 with new story and gameplay elements, scheduled for release in mid-2024.
