Bohemia Interactive presents a new game called Silica

Czech studio Bohemia Interactive today introduced a new game called Silica. This combination of first/third person action and real time strategy, which will take you to the year 2351 on the distant planet Baltarus. It hides under its surface a unique Balterium element that can propel the entire civilization forward for generations to come.

But as you can see from the sample attached above, raw materials are collected peacefully. will soon turn into a fierce battle with the insect inhabitants of this sandy planet. Developers attract three game modes and three different factionswho will compete with each other for dominance over Baltarus. You can play alone against artificial intelligence or in a group of up to twelve players in strategy mode. Arena mode, designed for 32 players, will offer even bigger battles.

Silica has been part of the job for some time programs “Bohemian Incubator”in which the studio helps independent creators with their own projects. In recent years, a number of community extensions for Army 3 have been created thanks to this program.

According to Marek Španel, the recently introduced expanded form of this game incubator will also target independent game projects and brands. The first such example is Silica, behind which is a former employee of the studio. Martin Melicharek.

Silica is due out soon on Steam Early Access, where you can already play the game add to wishlist. We do not yet know the exact release date or price.
