Not so long ago we wrote about the alleged PlayStation 5 Pro, and now another piece of news with which Insider Gaming magazine has come again, or rather Tom Henderson.
According to his sources, Sony is preparing a new PDA, codenamed Q Lite. However, it won’t be a classic “portable console” like the PSP or PS Vita. It is assumed to work using the Remote Play function, which streams games from the PlayStation 5 to the device you need to play, as well as a constant Internet connection.
The device is said to be similar to the DualSense controller but with an 8-inch LCD in the middle. Support for adaptive triggers and haptic feedback will be guaranteed. Of course, there are also features that you would expect from such a device, such as volume control or an audio jack.
According to Henderson, the PDA should be part of a kind of second phase of the PS5, which is not only about new games, but also about hardware. Sony is preparing the Project Nomad wireless headphones, the Project Voyager wireless headset and three gaming devices. First to arrive is a new version of the PS5 with a detachable mechanism that will act as a revision of the existing model and will likely be released this year. It is said that after it the Q Lite handheld will enter the market, and the last to be released is the PlayStation 5 Pro, which, according to Henderson, is scheduled for the end of 2024.
