Cellar Door Games Studio managed to plan this well. As the Epic Games Store is giving away the first part of Rogue Legacy 2013 2013, the highly acclaimed roguelike genealogy game, the developers are announcing the release date for the latest.
Rogue Legacy 2 releases April 28 this year on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store). Since the summer of 2020, the game has been available in pre-access on Steam and has received very positive feedback from players.
“After nearly four years of working on the game, getting it out to fans is the latest step on this long journey, and we hope the community finds it as special as we do.” states that Rogue Legacy 2 remains true to the original, but the project also lacks originality.

Rogue Legacy 2 is style number one. It’s still a genealogical roguelike platformer with random launches.. Again, when you die will replace your childrenevery child is unique. Your daughter may be a colorblind onion and your son a pacifist chef. In any case, one of them will be drafted into the army. Luckily, upgrades are permanent and pass on to your heirs.
What matters is that you can play how you want. You can easily go through the difficult path and quickly dive deeper into the depths of a randomly generated world, or follow this path slowly and smoothly build your character until you are ready for more serious challenges. With each quest, new monsters, new traps and new layouts await you. In this world, the key to success is improvisation, not memorization.
