Literally today, the expected remake of the survival horror Resident Evil 4 was released. Together with it, we received a release trailer, at the end of which there is very important information. The previously announced Mercenaries mode, in which you mow down waves of enemies in a limited amount of time, is arriving. April 7 as a free add-on. This is just the first of several DLCs to come. Officially, we know that PS VR2 mode is in the works, but there is also speculation about a possible remake of the “Different Paths” expansion, which should appear as paid DLC.
However, the game has some issues. Although Capcom has not yet commented on the unresponsive controls on Xbox, it has spoken out about the flickering at the bottom of the screen on the PS5 version. The developers are already working on a fix, as a temporary solution, it is recommended to disable the depth of field and enable motion blur.
You can get Resident Evil 4 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
