You won’t find many divine strategies on the market. In most cases, you also really care about a certain group of people. And you won’t find exactly that in the Czech game Gods Against Machines. Here, in the role of a god, you will try to stop the activities of an alien civilization that is trying to destroy the world you live in with the help of technology and pollution. Which deity you choose to play as is up to you, but over time they all gain new spells that can be used to destroy a civilization that destroys what you’re in charge of. This is supposed to be a multi-level strategy, so definitely don’t expect the path to victory to be too easy.
Each of the worlds has a certain lifespan, and once it’s used up, the roguelite mechanic kicks in, sending you to the next map where you can try to stop the destroyers again. Gods Against Machines is coming to PC later this year. The game does not yet have an exact release date, but it will be in Czech.
