Speculations about Fallout 3 remaster they are gaining strength again. This was facilitated by a statement from the executive producer of Bethesda Game Studios. So is there really a remastered version of the 2008 cult RPG in the works?

In a recent interview with GQ, Todd Howard mentioned that the studio is currently working on Fallout 76, The Elder Scrolls VI, as well as “a few other things.” This upcoming remaster could be among them, as Bethesda Game Studios currently has hundreds of people working on Fallout 76 and other projects. The original Fallout 3 was released in 2008 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and became one of the most seminal role-playing games of its era. The post-apocalyptic adventure in Washington, D.C. sold millions of copies and set the stage for the series’ modern era. Although the game can be played on Xbox Series X/S consoles via backwards compatibility, no official remaster or port has ever been created. In addition, Microsoft is increasingly releasing its games on the PlayStation 5, and Fallout 3 is not there.
