Half-Life already has its own remake, but that doesn’t mean you can’t play this iconic game with modern technology. The Digital Foundry channel created a video showing the world what the game looks like when you back it up with a free ray tracing mod. And I must say that some situations are much more intense due to its presence than when this function is turned off. For example, light is a much more important factor than ever before.
However, if you decide to activate this modification, you should take into account that it is quite demanding on performance. So to run it, you need an optimal setup, because on the worst machine, even a multi-year-old title can be seriously damaged. You can download the modification for Half-Life here.
