Not so long ago, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive managed to break its own record for the number of players simultaneously playing it. Now it looks like the famous shooter has managed to come to terms again, according to the Steam DB. It was fired at by over 1.4 million players simultaneously over the weekend, an exciting feat for a game that’s been around for over 23 years and that most competing titles can only silently envy. And the famous FPS probably won’t stop either.

We expect similar results from the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive 2. However, whether it will do the same is a question that is currently difficult to answer as the competition is really strong.
