Sony released today new PlayStation 5 system update. It is marked 07.00 and contains a number of new features that were tested among select players in early February.
The update enriches the console system with support for variable refresh rates in resolutions. 1440 rsubject to compatible equipment, including HDMI 2.1.
It has been successfully tested and implemented voice chat via Discord and chat with friends across platforms. As part of the social features, it was also possible to send a screen sharing request or start sharing a screen with a friend directly from their profile. It’s back in the party chats new icon join a game if party members are playing a game that you can join.
In Game Centers, you can see if your friends have a certain game, who is currently online, and who is currently playing that game. Here you can simply go to your friends’ profiles and discover additional features.
