Sherlock Holmes: Awakening is nearing completion in terms of development, Ukrainian studio Frogwares has just announced. Detective has reached the golden stage and the developers can focus on preparing for the release of the game on multiple platforms.
The game’s content is complete and playable from start to finish, which also allowed the team to set a release date. This will happen on April 11 this year on PC, the last two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch. On this occasion, it was published new trailer, which delves more into the Cthulhu-inspired horror world. The story will be about 15 hours.
The development of the title was not easy, initially the Kyiv studio Frogwares, which also has an office in Dublin, Ireland, had to cope with the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Some members of the team decided to protect their land. Others were forced to flee to EU countries. The rest are working from their homes in Ukraine, fighting power outages and explosions.
