Pařanský Ráj seems to have fully invested in the production of Czech localizations. After Machine Czech for Hogwarts Legacy, we have another similarly revised translation. Localization of the “Atomic Heart” event noted in our review has been created. The translation works on both Steam and Game Pass, so for those of you who don’t speak English well, there’s an option to at least make the game a little more accessible. Of course, the texts are not fully customized, but if you don’t want to have 100% customized translation, this is definitely one of the ways to enjoy playing a new game.
The creators of machine Czech for Atomic Heart, at least in the case of Hogwarts Legacy, present on their website that in this way they increase purchases and thereby increase the potential for creating official Czech languages for games, which is not true. As, for example, streamer Agraeleus argues further in one of his videos. Prim for local distribution is reproduced by the physical copies it distributes, which are definitely not non-physical variants. Likewise, it’s somewhat dishonest for Mr. Pokorny to attack regular translators in the footage of his latest video and claim that their only goal is money from fans. Most of them do their best for society.
