Gran Turismo 7 has received another major update

Developers Polyphony Digital have today released a new update for Gran Turismo 7. Update #1.29 brings, in addition to new cars, several expected new features.

In terms of vehicles, the game has been expanded with five new models:

  • Citroën DS 21 Pallas ’70
  • Honda RA272 ʼ65
  • Italdesign EXENEO Vision Gran Turismo (road and off-road version)
  • Porsche 911 Carrera RS (901) ’73

This is also part of the update. new Grand Valley Line – Highway 1. The chain consists of 18 turns and has a total length of 5099 meters. Basically, it should be dominated by high-speed sections where you will drive at full throttle.

Another important innovation is adding full support for the upcoming PlayStation VR2 headset. In addition to all the content available, owners of this device can also look forward to the exclusive VR Showroom feature, through which they will be able to view individual car models in high resolution in detail.

Perhaps the most interesting news adding new artificial intelligencecalled Gran Turismo Sophy. At the moment, Enhanced AI is only available in the limited-time race “Race Together”, which will be available until around the end of March. The new artificial intelligence is not yet available in other game modes. As part of the GT Sophy, this is more of a public test at the moment, and should provide developers with important feedback. Currently, only players who own the PlayStation 5 version can try out the new artificial intelligence.

The latest major update in update 1.29 for Gran Turismo 7 is Scapes photo mode extensionwhich will offer new conditions for drift photography.
