Much has been written about the Hogwarts Legacy in recent days, and there will likely be more to come. Many players are legitimately asking if we will see any DLC. According to the developers in an interview with IGN, it looks like no expansions are planned, at least for now. The studio focused on the release and probably now also on making the game as subtle as possible. However, in the long term, it cannot be ruled out that over time we will see some expansion. According to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming magazine, the following options are clearly on offer:

  • quidditch
  • Magic chess
  • The Ordinary Wizarding Level (i.e. OWL), similar to the entrance exams for wizards,
  • Other spells
  • Content related to the Ministry of Magic or another well-known institution such as Azkaban.
  • school cup
  • Triwizard Tournament

It must be said that in addition to this, he also mentions the possibility of adding cooperation. However, apparently, the creators of the community are already working on it. It’s called HogWarp and is being actively developed by the team behind the rather similar Skyrim Together project, which allows up to 25 players to play Skyrim. If you want to go to Hogwarts with friends, you have the option in the developer edition, which is part of a £46 a month subscription, which is no small amount.
