Metroid Prime is a legendary adventure game that for many has defined what a representative of this genre should look like. The recent release of Metroid Prime Remaster on Nintendo Switch came as a surprise to many, although few expected it. It’s doing exceptionally well on Metacritic, which, of course, has a lot to do with the fact that the original game itself was something memorable. Surprisingly, the original team of Metroid Prime wasn’t mentioned at all during the end credits, which were made up by one of the original creators, Jack Matthews.
Instead of mentioning the names of all the famous authors who created the game, the credits only say that the title is based on the original work, which is really sad, because Jack Matthews and many others definitely deserve it. Metroid Prime Remaster is available on Nintendo Switch.
This is travesty. Not only to my credit (although most of my code has probably been replaced), but to people whose code and work hasn’t changed much, like Mark H.H., Steve McCree, all the overrated art and concepts, game design. Shameful. https://t.co/y6tXyCG3N1
