It’s been more than two years since more concrete news about a fan effort to create a Czech dub of RPG cutscenes first surfaced. Kingdom Come: Deliverance from the Czech studio Warhorse. From this idea, he turned out over time an ambitious project whose goal was nothing less than to offer a professional dubbing of the entire game, featuring a number of experienced and established dubbers as well as lesser known names. AND now we finally have the resultwhich is available in official form.

The Warhorse studio itself has never spared support for the creation of a fan-made Czech dub of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which is now offered dubbing to all players in the form of an official update to the PC version. In addition, it also contains the official Japanese dub from a local distributor, which until now was only available to players in Japan.

“Try Kingdom Come: Deliverance in your native Czech and take Jindra on a wild journey through medieval Bohemia. Many thanks to Artur Komniacki and Marko Pilger, who led the Czech dubbing project, as well as to all the actors and stunt doubles for their excellent work. And if you want to experience Kingdom Come: Deliverance in an unconventional way, you can now also try the Japanese dub.” we will read in the official announcement of the Warhorse studio on Steam.

However, for the time being, it seems that the Czech dub will remain the prerogative of the PC version., as its authors state on their Facebook page in response to questions from fans, that the possibility of dubbing even on consoles is currently not very real. Of course, this is beyond the power of the authors and, perhaps, not even the Warhorse studio. It should be noted that already five years ago, when we were first able to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse studio itself published the game only on PC, that is, on Steam, and then on GOG.com and the Epic Games Store. The publisher on consoles was Deep Silver, and now under the cult Czech RPG, Prime Matter is signed as a publisher.

So it’s possible that the differences in how the game is released on individual platforms is partly due to the fact that players on consoles are likely to be banned from Czech dubbing. Of course, various technical or certification reasons may also play a role.so while a console dub is not out of the question at this point, it’s more likely that only PC players will be able to enjoy it.

On the occasion of the fifth birthday of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, we also received a new trailer.
