Studio Mundfish recently shared with us information about the upcoming first-person atmospheric action game. atomic heart with RPG elements. Very impressive visuals could be seen in the images and gameplay footage. Therefore, many players were concerned about how difficult the game would be on PC and how it would work on current and old generation consoles.

Good news. If you are comfortable with low graphic detail, 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second, then Atomic Heart won’t be a difficult game. But surely everyone will want to play such a crazy shooter at 60 frames per second. We do not see any bloody demands here either. They come gradually. Although they are not as bad as some expected. I hope this means good optimization.

Judge for yourself:

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PC AND CONSOLE

In an interview with wccftech, head of development Robert Bagratuni said that the differences between the latest generation of consoles and the PC version is that powerful PC builds will deliver higher frame rates and higher quality. They are constantly introducing the latest available additional technologies into the game and they don’t count on ray tracing on consoles yet. Instead, they strive to provide players with the best and most optimized visual experience possible.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will have one 4K dynamic graphics mode at 60fps.. In some parts of the game, native 4K is even assumed with a “hard” 60 frames. Xbox Series S will be Full HD (1080p) and 60 frames.

They want to improve performance in the future. Haptic feedback and adaptive controller triggers will be supported on PS5. Double meaning (not on PC).

Atomic Heart will release on February 21, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will be available as part of Game Pass for PC and Xbox consoles on the same day. Mundfish is planning additional content in the future. Read more about the game here.
