Hogwarts Legacy is the video game I’ve always dreamed of. I had no idea that something like this could come from the Harry Potter series. The Avalanche dared to create something completely new, while retaining the essence of the original material. It’s one of those games that puts everything else in a quandary because it’s way ahead of anything that’s been done before, and because the video games that come after it will have a pretty hard time keeping up with its qualities. Hogwarts Legacy is the video game that Harry Potter fans deserve and that I was completely unprepared for.

In the open world, you will find memorable characters and complex and carefully designed combat that chained me to the screen for dozens of hours. The game is certainly weighed down by technical issues, a lackluster main story, and poor enemy variety, but even that couldn’t detract from the experience that the game completely fascinated me with.
