Since Xbox One, Microsoft has relied on backward compatibilityso you can play older games on new generations of Xbox. But now a large number of games will be removed from the Xbox 360 Digital Store, including all DLC associated with individual games. They will only be available on the old Xbox 360 marketplace until 02/07/2023.
Luckily, deleting games won’t affect your ability to download them, but only if you’ve previously purchased them or added them to your digital library. Similarly, there will be no problem playing on newer consoles as long as you have the physical version. However, games that can be downloaded from the more modern Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S Store will continue to be available after this change..
