Base variants of the Ryzen 7000 processors have been out since last year, but at this year’s CES, AMD introduced models with 3D V-Cache technology. This has already been tested on the latest generation with the very successful Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which is still one of the best selling processors on the market. Due to the large amount of cache, in some games it even outperforms the latest generation processors, although it really depends on the name, somewhere more cache is used, somewhere high frequency and performance per core.
So many have been eagerly waiting for the Ryzen 7000X3D, and now we finally know when it will hit the market and at what price. First comes the twelve-core Ryzen 9 7900X3D for $599 and sixteen-core Ryzen 9 7950X3D for $699. Both models are already on the market. 28th of February.
After them, probably the most anticipated CPU from the new line will come out – an eight-core one. Ryzen 7 7800X3D $449. Release date set for April 6.
