Dambuster Studios spoke with the editors of the American Game Informer, through new gameplay footage from Dead Island 2 introduced the FLESH system.
Full name Fully localized humanoid evisceration system. It’s a gore procedural system that will allow us to make “meat piñatas” out of zombies. Depending on which part of the body is hit, realistic damage is dealt, whether it be a bladed weapon that tears through layers of skin and flesh, or a blunt weapon that crushes bones.

Enemy damage will also be affected by hits, angle of incidence, strength, and distance.. And finally, the opponents themselves. As an example, the developers cite ordinary zombies that will decompose, like any decaying undead person. You can rip open the bellies of large zombies, causing their intestines to fall out onto the floor.
The system looks like in the demo very cruel. Judge for yourself. The game will be released on 04/28/2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. They will be in the game Czech subtitles.
