E3 has long been a celebration of gaming. However, over time it turned out that it can be replaced relatively easily. Some companies have their own presentations, while others rely on the likes of Geoff Keighley, who has hosted several game shows. In addition, this year it even looks like E3 will not be a large part of the big players. The organizers have not yet been able to persuade Microsoft, Nintendo or Sony to return, which is a big problem, because this trio is the reason for the participation of many players and journalists in this event. To some extent, some larger publishers led by Ubisoft, Activision Blizzard or Take-Two could replace their place.
However, at the very least, Microsoft wants to hold its presentations this year during E3 2023 (June 13-16) than wants to support this event to a certain extent and actually make it easier for people traveling to this legendary fair. It is currently possible that the company will still take part in this event, but it is clear for the two remaining representatives of the big three that they will not come to Los Angeles this year. This could mean a lot, but it’s already clear that this gaming celebration will likely never be the same again.
If Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo skip E3, will the event still make sense? https://t.co/K79ScZ6A8R
