Ukrainian developers Frogwares continue to work on a remake of The Awakened Sherlock Holmes, which is more like a rethink than a remake. While we still don’t know a release date, the developers say the game should indeed release in February as planned. Also, the promised demo for Kickstarter supporters (specifically Mind Hunter level and above) was released on Friday, so if you’re one of them, you should already have the key in your email and you can start playing.
If you’re unlucky, you can still enjoy the new screenshots, even with Czech subtitles from the translator Petr Tiháček, because both the demo and the full version offer a complete localization ready to go. You can already watch the entire demo recording, it was posted on YouTube, for example, by the Slovak magazine Sector. We will present you with a preview soon.
Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is out on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
