Northgard is a strategy that has matured over the years to the point where it can be called a gem, often not even ankle-deep in competition. And it’s the high quality of this work that seems to have led its creator to create the board game Northgard: The Unknown Land, which sees up to five Viking settlements clash as they attempt to dominate an as yet uncharted island. You can look forward to battles with local monsters and animals, as well as with other clans trying to capture as much unoccupied land as possible. There will also be no shortage of raw materials or maps on which the gameplay of this work is based to some extent.
You will certainly be pleased by the fact that thanks to Tlama Games the game is available in Czech, so you will enjoy a 60 to 90 minute journey to dominance without having to break the rules in a foreign language. As for the price tag, now it is somewhere around 1600 crowns.
