30 minutes before the game at The Quarry

A few weeks ago, Supermassive Games announced a new horror film from Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures anthology. The game is called The Quarry and we will spend the last night of summer camp in the shoes of nine teenagers. Today we got a really generous dose of footage straight from the game, because IGN brought in a 30 minute video.

On it, we see that the title is played very similar to all the others from this studio. The adventure part consists of walking and exploring objects, again the static camera decides everything. Of course, there are also many cutscenes that move the story forward. In addition, during them we will traditionally make various decisions that can greatly affect subsequent events and the fate of individual characters.

The demo follows a couple of heroes on a journey in a car, during which they meet a very special police officer. There is probably no point in describing it in detail here, so I refer you to the video itself.

The Quarry will release on June 10 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can pre-order the game from the Xzone Store.
