The serial adaptation of The Last of Us game series is doing well both in terms of audience and reviews. The significant success of the series is already beginning to affect the sales of games in this series after the release of the first two series.
We were the first to hear about boxed game sales in the UK, first reported by Gameindustry.biz magazine. Over the past week compared to the previous period The Last of Us Part I sales up 238%.
An older version of the game with the same name has grown even larger. The Last of Us Remastered, whose sales grew by 322%. UK Amazon data shows that The Last of Us Part II has also become one of the best-selling games.
The last time we saw a similar effect was after the release of the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which significantly helped the sales of Cyberpunk 2077. The current figures indicate that something similar is likely to be waiting for us in the case of The Last of Us.
