The new trailer introduces the British and their vast real-time strategy repertoire. Company of Heroes 3. The Brits offer plenty of protection and should suit both newcomers and series veterans alike.
The British faction has been completely redesigned for both single and multiplayer, and is one of four that will be available at launch.
Developers from the Relic studio claim that The British are versatile in almost any combat scenario.. With perseverance (and a bit of stubbornness) their backpack howitzers, heavy 4.2-caliber mortars and 6-pounder anti-tank gun can hold off hordes of Germans. An assortment of vehicles such as the Dingo Recon Vehicle and the Humber Armored Car can easily slip through enemy lines in the early stages of a battle.
As for the special forces The British may call on the Gurkhas, an armed unit of Nepalese and Indian soldiers whose Thomson submachine guns and Czechoslovak-made Bren light machine guns are lethal at short to medium ranges. It can also provide support Indian artillery with its indirect firepower. These battlegroups perfectly complement the core units and add unique tactical depth to Company of Heroes.
Company of Heroes 3 successfully passed the multiplayer stress test. It was attended by 153,661 players, which allowed the developers to test the servers and prepare them for the release of the full version.
