A new spin-off of the animated series starring SpongeBob is in full swing. The recently released trailer is funny, and it looks like it is. space 3D adventure takes a cue from successful platformers such as Mario Odyssey and Crash Bandicoot.
SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick, Gary the pet snail, Sandy the karateka, Squidward the music lover and many other characters are voiced by the original voice actors from the series.
The story is like this. The mysterious fortuneteller Cassandra gives SpongeBob and Patrick an ampoule of magic bubble soap. What can happen? Before they know it, they make up too many wishes, and what at first glance seems like harmless entertainment turns into space disasters. The very threads of reality unravel and tear everywhere magical worlds of desire. While SpongeBob’s friends are trapped in these strange worlds, your favorite sponge must dress up in various disguises, go through the Wish Realms, bring back his friends, and restore the Bikini Still Life. Be careful. Cassandra may not be as good a helper as she claims.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Space Shake Releases January 31 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in BFF Standard and Special Editions. On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will be backwards compatible.
