Several key developers left Playground Games

Studio Playground Games, which is currently working on a new part of the Fable series and in recent years has released five parts of the popular Forza Horizon series, several important members left.

In particular, it is about six developers led by Mike Brown, who, from the position of creative director, helped manage the development of the second to fifth parts of the aforementioned Forza Horizon. These six high-profile developers made a joint statement today. creation of a new independent studio called Maverick Games, which will be based in the English city of Leamington Spa. The studio has revealed that they have plans to make an open-world AAA game for PC and consoles.

Maverick Games currently consists of only 10 developers. However, gradually the number of employees should have gone up to 140. The recruitment of new members has already begun.
