A reliable wireless connection is an often overlooked component of setting up the Internet. The high speed that you honestly pay for from your ISP may not reach the devices you use every day with a low-quality router. However, with fast routers from TP-Link, long downloads and signal interruptions will completely bypass you.

However, today we will consider representatives of the middle class, i.e., probably the most popular category. These are TP-Link Archer AX53 and AX73. Both of these routers will offer fast Wi-Fi 6 and will cost between two and three thousand rubles.
The cheaper Archer AX53 is sufficient for less demanding households. Four beamforming antennas provide coverage. Thanks to this, the router provides an accurate connection for dozens of devices at the same time. The connection also supports OFDMA technology, which increases throughput and simultaneous transmission to multiple devices. So you don’t have to worry about joining an online meeting while the kids are watching a high-definition movie in the living room.

The more equipped Archer AX73 offers speeds up to 5400 Mbps, which you will appreciate when streaming video in 8K resolution, for example. With this router, signal coverage is even better with six antennas, more efficient 1024-QAM modulation and six simultaneous data streams. In contrast, the Archer AX53 offers four data streams.
If we talk about the maximum number of connected devices, then the Archer X73 can handle up to 200 of them, which is really enough supply for the next few years. Again, OFDMA and Target Wake Time technologies are not missing.
At the same time, a more powerful triple-core processor ensures smooth operation. You can also connect, for example, an external drive to the router via a USB 3.0 port and easily set up a private cloud in the interface.
The Archer AX73 has another trick up its sleeve, namely Static Link Aggregation (LAG), which allows two LAN ports to be used simultaneously (for example, two clients, users, or computers). So theoretically you can achieve speeds up to 1 Gbps on each of the two ports at the same time. You can use this, for example, when connecting to a NAS or a server that also supports the LAG function.
Both models are then connected with a dual-band connection. Archer AX53 and AX73 use Wi-Fi 6 and communicate on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. They will also offer the TP-Link OneMesh feature to easily create a large network and cover every corner. With the network configured in this way, the connected device will not disconnect and switch between signal sources.
The TP-Link Archer AX73 and AX53 also impress with enhanced security thanks to WPA3 encryption. So you don’t have to worry about someone hacking into your local network. The new encryption protocol should last for years to come.
The local network will also be protected by TP-Link HomeShield, which protects against DDoS attacks, malicious websites and port hijacking. Thus, it protects your data and enhances the level of privacy. For example, you can use a network scanner that analyzes potential risks.
