At CES Tuesday, Nvidia announced the RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, the third addition to Ada Lovelace’s generation after the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080. As we’ve written several times, the 4070 Ti is exactly the same card as the 12GB 4080. which was canceled in October, only it has a different number and is $100 cheaper than the $800 price tag. The problem is that Nvidia did not create a single Founders edition, so there are practically no cards at this price, and partner models, as a rule, are at least tens of dollars more expensive, and we are talking only about America, in Europe all cards are much more expensive. more expensive.
The reviews were posted on Wednesday and the card went on sale on Thursday, so now we can take a look at third party benchmarks. Of course, the result varies from game to game, but on average it’s about the same as the RTX 3090 Ti at 1440p and more significantly below it at 4K, which is probably due to less VRAM and less bandwidth. In ray tracing, the 4070 Ti is once again on par with the 3090 Ti, placing it between the competing Radeon RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX.
It’s definitely not a cheap card, especially compared to the already fairly cheap Radeon RX 7900 XT. Let’s see how the card performs in sales, because the more powerful RTX 4080 has dropped quite a bit. It will also be interesting to see how the future lower models that arrive later this year perform.
Intel introduced new models of 13th generation processors
Intel has officially unveiled a number of new 13th generation models. The existing models “K” and “KF” were supplemented with processors marked “F” and without a letter at all, including those with a lower number. Models without the “K” badge do not overclock and have slightly lower frequencies. You can see the clear table below. It is important to note that all processors from the Core i5-13600 and below are built on the Alder Lake architecture, and not on the latest Raptor Lake.
