Developers from OVERKILL Software today released the first teaser for the upcoming Payday 3 co-op event. financial problems of the Swedish company Starbreezewho owns the rights to the brand and the OVERKILL Software studio itself.
The collapse of Starbreeze and the likely cessation of the development of the third Payday managed to prevent financial injections from the publisher Plaion (formerly Koch Media), which falls under a growing hug group. Embracer had to provide 50 million euros for the development, marketing and subsequent support of Payday 3.
The newly released teaser shows the game’s logo and a brief overview of the four characters, which refer to the series’ flagship four-player co-op mode. It was also announced that the game will be released on PC and unspecified consoles later this year.
