At the end of November, Ubisoft representatives officially confirmed the return of their games to Steam, where no game from this publisher has been released for more than three years. During this period, PC gamers could only find Ubisoft games on the Epic Games Store and on the Ubisoft Connect platform.
However, the revision of the strategy announced in November had an impact release of four games on Steam until the end of the year. These include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Anno 1800, Roller Champions and Immortals Fenyx Rising. Despite the initial positive reaction to the move, the release of said games was not without controversy due to missing achievements and the subsequent bombardment of players with reviews.
However, despite these problems, Ubisoft has a plan release three more games on Steam in January. We’ve known for a long time that Watch Dogs: Legion will release on Steam on January 26th. But even before that, players will have to wait for the release of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition (January 5) and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 (January 12).
Let’s see if Ubisoft releases other already released games on Steam. For example, consider Far Cry 6, Riders Republic, Trackmania (2020), Rainbow Six Extraction, or Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.
