But fresh signs indicate that Epic has plans for the future with this brand as well. The Unreal Tournament 3 X map has appeared on Steam. From its description on Steam, we know that there will be a new version of the famous free shooter and will offer various multiplayer modes as well as a campaign.
In addition to the original version will get multiplayer crossplay support, allowing play between players on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. From this it is clear that Unreal Tournament 3 X will be released not only on Steam, but also in the mentioned GOG and Epic Games Store.
Obviously, the release of the map on Steam was premature. At the moment, we do not know when the free version of the popular shooter will be released. Undoubtedly the new version will replace the original Unreal Tournament 3, whose servers will be disabled. The same fate will befall other old parts of this brand.
