Epic comes out with a new account for young players

Creating a sufficiently friendly environment in multiplayer games is becoming increasingly difficult. Because this fact is not a society epic games indifferent, comes with a special account that is supposed to prevent community toxicity and protect youth from unnecessary evil thoughts.

The new account will be called Hidden account and it will block some features for younger players, while at the same time creating a much more enjoyable and less toxic environment.

New account option defined for players under 13 (Age may vary from country to country). It is activated automatically for them, provided they have the correct date of birth.

The cabled account is devoid of several elements such as this is a public chat and voice communication. It will also no longer be possible to buy things for real currency or simply put money in a wallet. Subsequently, you will need to enter the email address of the parent or any legal representative who is responsible for the Cabined account holder.

This account will not be able to download games that are not supported by Epic. Unfortunately, these measures will also be reflected in multiplayer games. For example, in Rocket League. the possibility of exchanging objects disappears and own name.

Emails and marketing messages will not end up in the child’s account. In addition, the ability to link your Epic account to external apps will be hidden. To access any of the features mentioned above, you will need to ask your parent to allow setup via parent email.

If you already own a few games and are on a Cabined account, you can play them, but you’ll need to ask your legal representativeto confirm and authorize your payment. Headers that need to be downloaded from EGS will probably not work, but requesting permission again is not a problem.

So what can you play without restrictions? Most of the games under the umbrella of Epic.
