Game studios have long focused primarily on strategy within the Dune series. However, this genre is not suitable for everyone, so some of the developers decided to present the desert world to players in the form of an MMORPG, which inherently has a higher chance of popularity than a strategic format that discourages playing due to its frequent inaccessibility. Dune Awakening has only been shown as a trailer so far, but now we have the opportunity to see the gameplay teaser, and it must be said that what it shows looks quite good. Exactly the opposite. The new footage feels really intense and it has pretty much everything players love about the brand.
We have desert storms, ship-controlled orbit, test stations, spices, and of course sandworms, which the community often loves and hates. Dune Awakening looks really promising in the footage presented. In the future, the game will appear on PC, PS5 and Xbox X/S.
