The anticipation of next year’s autumn will be a little more bearable for everyone who is looking forward to an interesting Slovak action adventure. Vivat Slovakia, which is reminiscent of the GTA and Mafia series. This is how they will accept it. The authors have published a demo on Steam.
In particular, it is about free graphics demo. “In it you can walk around the inner quarter of Petrzalka (one of the urban areas of Bratislava – ed. note), try dynamic light, look into fake interiors or find Easter eggs,” announces a press release and warns that this is not the final visual of the game. It will continue to improve, mainly animation and character models, including main character Milan. So this is not a gameplay demo.
“The GFX demo of the game Vivat Slovakia presents the graphical capabilities of the developed game. In it, you can advance game time and see how dynamic lighting behaves in relation to objects and the environment. We tested it with surround sound, fake interiors or the physics of the main character, while changing the model of the hero himself, as well as all the other characters.
“Terrible animations, especially walking, have also been changed. When developing this application, optimization was not considered, and therefore it does not meet the hardware requirements of the final version being developed. If you find the GFX demo choppy, don’t worry, At Vivat Slovakia we are very concerned with optimization. Even if you send us your hardware parameters, we will try to optimize the final product for your computer. The Vivat Slovakia GFX demo was created in the spring of 2021 for the purpose of presentation to the expert committee of the Foundation for the Support of the Arts.” the press release explains the purpose of the demo.
“Before starting the GFX demo, a launcher will appear asking you to submit HW parameters such as video card, processor, or RAM. It does not collect any personal data. The goal is for us to know what kind of HW our future players will have.” provided by the creators.
