More than six months later, the developers from the Ubisoft Düsseldorf studio again applied for the floor and brought a five-minute video with new information. Players can look forward to smoother gameplay, new map movement options, better food usage, improved user interface and keyboard tweaks. Also in the game will be a story campaign with 13 missions, a Hardcore mode (formerly known as Onslaught), which received many improvements, as well as new maps (there are already 12 in total) and individual factions with unique units. have also been changed. The economy has been overhauled, especially the production and use of tools, as well as the research system. A forester was added to the game, which was one of the most requested features because it allows you to plant trees, which was not possible in the beta.
As for the release, The Settlers: New Allies will arrive February 17, 2023 on the PC, with Czech subtitles. However, console versions are also in development. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, as well as GeForce Now and Luna streaming services.. All platforms will have cross-progress and cross-play between them.
You can pre-order the title right now. It will be available on Ubisoft+ on release day.
As a final note, there will be a live stream on Thursday, December 1st, where we will be guided by creative director Christian Hagedorn, and we will see the Skirmish mode in action. The stream will begin at 5:00 PM ET and you can watch it on Twitch.
