In a way, the new version of Portal RTX is meant to showcase the power of DLSS 3 and RTX 4000, Nvidia’s new collection of top graphics cards. Based on internal testing by Green Team, using the Lovelace GPU and its frame rate technology will nearly triple performance (2.8X). Of course, if you’re using an older RTX GPU, you’ll still be able to use DLSS 2 and increase frame rates, but you’ll probably notice a difference in clarity.

It’s worth noting that Portal isn’t the only game to receive an “RTX Remix,” as the maps include updates to Minecraft and Quake 2. The project is being developed by Nvidia’s Lightspeed Studios, and lead developer John Spitzer is developing. he said the mod pad would help. bring “new cutting-edge technology while staying true to the original spirit of the game.”

If you’re stuck with a GTX GPU or want to build the ultimate gaming PC, you’re in luck. Nvidia has big plans for its Portal with the RTX Launch Party, which includes an RTX 4000 giveaway. If you’ve already bought the RTX 4090, you’ll still want to check it out, as free RTX Portal codes are also available. .
