Fortnite is one of those games where few people really expect viewer numbers to drop. It has long been one of the actively played and viewed projects. However, according to Twitchmetrics, the golden era of Fortnite is slowly coming to an end. Some well-known streamer names turn away from him, which leads to a decrease in his popularity. Whereas in the past this hit playfully outperformed a large percentage of competing entries, it has now fallen to 16th place in terms of viewership on the Twitch platform, which Epic is certainly not happy about.
According to some, the main reason for the fall is the fact that the level of toxicity and competitiveness in the game is growing, which also to some extent determines the toxicity of the environment. The numbers could theoretically be lower also due to the fact that the next chapter has ended, which means that players are no longer forced to play so much, and as soon as chapter 4 begins, they will return to exploring the game world, as well as watching streams, for which Fortnite will also be more attractive than it is now. The next part of the path of this significant work will begin on December 3, during the Fracture event, the exact form of which is still unknown.
Don’t fall apart…
