Tomorrow is the last episode of the first season of the Picture Anthology, called The Devil in Me, which takes us to the hotel of the first mass murderer in America. But according to tradition, at the end of each game from this anthology, a trailer for the next one appears, which happened now. A short trailer was uploaded to YouTube by a player who apparently got to the title early.
The new episode is subtitled Directive 8020 and will be the first game of the second season, though we don’t know exactly what that will mean yet. But it is clear that this time we will look into space.
At the very beginning of the demo, we learn that the main characters are on the ship Cassiopeia in the constellation of Ceti, approaching the planet Tau Ceti f, which is located in the habitable zone around the star Tau Ceti. After all, Stafford, apparently the commander of the crew, directly calls the planet “the future home of mankind.” But not everything goes according to plan when one of the research team members is attacked by his female colleague. Apparently, the planet is not all right.
We don’t yet know a release date or target platforms, but it’s likely that an official announcement will come directly from the developers in the coming days.
