The report is said to come from sources familiar with cases at Sony and NCSoft. But development has not started yet. NCSoft is currently recruiting for Project H, which should be Horizon. For all accounts global market orientation and is part of Sony’s efforts to market its games as live services.

As high-ranking Sony officials have previously stated, they want to ensure that live streaming projects are of PlayStation quality and provide an immersive experience for players.. In this style, a separate multiplayer project will be created in the world of The Last of Us. Sony wants to release at least 12 online services in the coming years.

The information from MTN matches the Guerrilla Games advertisement. The Dutch studio is looking for people for mobile name. Lead Producer, Senior Product Manager and Korean translator, among others. So the question is whether the Horizon MMORPG will even be released on PlayStation consoles. As we know, Sony wants to play a bigger role in mobile phones and tablets.

On the other hand, Guerrilla Games is likely developing a spin-off, so it could very well be that we will see both mobile MMORPG Horizon and online games for PlayStation 5 and PC. Because last year they were looking for a senior social systems manager in Amsterdam to help create systems for multiplayer social interactions and guild groups.

Recall that earlier Guerrilla planned co-op for Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West this year, but in the end they decided that both games would remain purely single-player.

What is currently known is the creation of the Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Call of the Mountain series for PlayStation VR2.
