The release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was eagerly awaited by many gamers. However, this did not deter some players from inappropriate behavior or cheating. One of the cases of an in-game ban is described by a Reddit user. In his deleted post, he claims he got banned so he couldn’t play the last episode. But since it was a highly anticipated game, the fan paid another $70 and bought it again to get another ban.
Two bans were not quite to the taste of the user. So he decided to settle the whole situation directly with the developers from Activision Blizzard and went to their headquarters in Austin, Texas. There he ran into a guard, whom he asked if he could enter. The answer was that he could not, but if he needed something, he would arrange it. So the player described his problem again, but after a few minutes, the same guard approached him and said that the developers would not help him because they did not have enough staff. Processing may take weeks.
After the player expressed his dissatisfaction that he had spent a total of $140 on the game, the security guard told him that he could not behave this way towards a video game and that he should be patient. One of the developers commented on the whole situation on Twitter.
Employees are paid about fifteen dollars an hour and still cannot afford to pay the rent they share with other people. Please do not visit the developers in their offices. This will not help, and we fear for our safety.
Many users support the player because the game does not have working support. Others accuse him of being hysterical about the game.
