Czechs fly to Copenhagen
Red Bull Flick is considered one of the largest casual CS:GO tournaments. Players will compete in a 2v2 format, in the “King of the Hill” mode. The best couples will meet on November 19 and 20 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The 16 best pairs went to the national final, which took place in the Prague Automobile Club of the Czech Republic. In the final, the teams Upol Power and Zakusecky met. On the Digital Palace map, the Zakusecky team finally won and became the representative of the Czech Republic at the tournament in Copenhagen. Mint from Upol Power was recognized as the best player.
IEM Rio breaks records
IEM Rio is undoubtedly the event of the year for both CS:GO teams and fans. Seat tickets were sold out on the first day, and the record of audience sympathy at the Challengers stage was broken. The main attraction for spectators was the Imperial home team, which was watched by over 700,000 people. Unfortunately, the shooters from Imperial didn’t do very well and lost to the world No. 2 Vitality. Other matches were of great interest as well. The match FURIA vs BIG team was watched by 699 thousand fans. However, the record for the number of viewers currently belongs to the PGL Major, which took place in Stockholm in 2021. The event was watched by 2,748,434 spectators.
A strong start for the IHR
The ongoing IEM Rio is in full swing. The German organization MOUZ entered the championship in full force and performed brilliantly in the Legends Stage. They won the series against Liquid with a score of 16:2. John “JDC” de Castro and David “frozen” Chernansky, with perfect scores of 2.24 and 2.15 respectively, are most responsible for the victory.
