Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II had the most successful launch in the history of the series on PlayStation

Last week, we informed you about the successful launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on Steam, where the game received a record number of players in the series since its release. But the new Call of Duty is not doing very well only on the PC.

The game also breaks records on consoles. sony via official twitter announced that the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on the PlayStation was the most successful in the history of the series.

While the numbers from Steam are based primarily on the number of active players, Sony points to the actual sales on the day of release and the number of pre-orders. PlayStation is the second platform after Steam on which the new Call of Duty beats the records of all its predecessors.
