Connected Age of Empires with Xbox, the last fourth part from the Relic Entertainment studio, which was released on computers last fall, was mentioned. But the console version is due to be unveiled in the series’ 25th anniversary stream tonight. Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
This fact was prematurely revealed by the European rating agency PEGI, which approved the game. Xbox Series X/S as well as Xbox One evaluated. According to the database entry, the title should be released today.
The Age of Empires 24th Anniversary Showcase will be streaming on YouTube and Twitch from 7pm ET. Microsoft invites announcements, interviews with the team and a few surprises.
As a reminder, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition was released on PC in 2019 and is an updated version of the 1999 game with significantly improved graphics, 4K support and all previously released expansions. Also, last year in Age of Empires 2, the Hussites went to war with Jan Zizka and the Poles thanks to an add-on pack Dawn of the Dukesand this year the players received Dynasties of India with three new playable civilizations.
