Bethesda Softworks’ month-long celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Fallout series is slowly but surely coming to an end. In conclusion, we have one rather big announcement. No, another Fallout didn’t fit, and there was no announcement of a remaster or remake, although according to some players, remasters and remakes are always few. However, Bethesda announced that during 2023 with RPG Fallout 4 from 2015 will receive a free next generation update.

The update is for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, and developers at Bethesda Game Studios offer support for higher frame rates, full 4K resolution support, various bug fixes and bonus Creation Club content.. Unfortunately, the creators did not share more information, but it seems that they are following the same path as in the case of Skyrim. Only this time we are “only” getting a free next-gen update instead of a brand new version.

Hopefully this also means we won’t see Fallout 4 again in our Steam libraries under a slightly different name, as we did in 2016 with Skyrim and its Special Edition, which owners of the original PC version received for free. If it’s really just an update, we may not have to deal with the transfer of saved positions, modified content, or the need to get all the achievements again.i.e. trophies.
With the fifth installment of The Elder Scrolls saga, we can still ask if, like last year’s Anniversary edition, it will be possible to buy all Creation Club content for Fallout 4 for a one-time fee. However, information about bonus content suggests that the system that allows you to buy premium add-ons created by creators from Bethesda Game Studios or from the ranks of the creators of the community has not yet said the last word in the case of the fourth Fallout.. And so perhaps Bethesda will try to monetize it in some other way.
We still have information for players Fallout 76. There is no next generation update planned for it yet, we may never get the promised 16 times more parts, but in the next two weeks we will be able to enjoy the Halloween event, with which Spooky Scorched enemies return to Appalachia. If you take care of them, you may find a sweet reward with them.
You can also place a candy box in your CAMP so that anyone can sing songs in the virtual post-apocalyptic world, as well as it would not hurt to at least turn on Fallout 76 every day from 10/25 to 11/8. There is always a free bonus in the Atomic Shop. Sometimes these will be items that can be used, and sometimes they will be completely new items that may even have certain tasks associated with them, after completing which you will receive additional rewards. The first thing you can find in the Atomic Shop early tomorrow evening is a special cannon.
We then refer art lovers to a dedicated article published by the developers at Bethesda Game Studios. never-before-seen concepts and art from the development of Fallout 76 and its expansions. Thus, we can see images related not only to the original 2018 game, but also to the recently released The Pitt add-on. All this is complemented by a new video from the Fallout Retrospective series, in which the creators remember Fallout 76. You can find this video just above.
